PUC Denies Late Motions to Intervene in Aqua Texas Rate Case

On October 8, 2026, the Public Utility Commission of Texas voted not to add the late‑filed motions to intervene submitted by John Geraldini, Ali Sajadi, and Justine Slaughter to any open meeting in Docket No. 58124 (Application of Aqua Texas, Inc. for Authority to Change Rates).

This decision confirms that the window for new intervenors closed during the earlier SOAH phase of the case. While these applicants cannot gain legal standing as parties, all residents may still attend Commission meetings and submit public comments. Fair Water Texas continues to encourage early engagement in rate proceedings to ensure communities have a voice before decisions are finalized.
